My love for travel began during my second trip to Europe in college, when I spent a summer studying abroad in Spain. On earlier travels, I often felt like I was only skimming the surface, which left me homesick. But from the moment I arrived in Spain, it felt as if a braver, bolder version of myself had been waiting there all along. I wandered ancient streets, tasted tapas and wine for the first time, and felt deeply connected to the world around me and completely at ease in my own skin.
That summer planted a quiet seed that grew alongside my professional life. I built a successful career in law and public service, but over time, I began to feel restless. I realized I was craving more creativity, more freedom, and more purpose. The spark I felt in Spain was not a fleeting gift; it was a guidepost. Travel had always been my compass, teaching me how to step into the unknown, build connections, and live fully.
That realization opened a new path. I decided not to wait until retirement to make travel my work. Instead, I used my experience and global perspective to help others feel what I had felt—alive, curious, and full of wonder.
